Introduction

ABN Lookup


https://abr.business.gov.au/ ABN Lookup is the public view of the Australian Business Register (ABR). It provides access to publicly available information supplied by businesses when they register for an Australian Business Number (ABN).

Whozwho Billing

When signing up for the whozwho platform and you have a commercial presence in Australia you are required to provide an ABN. Whozwho's billing entity uses the ABN lookup system to validate ABN’s, there are instances where a newly registered ABN will not be present on https://abr.business.gov.au/ should this occur follow the steps below.


As you can see there is a "Publish ABN" button, which you can click, which essentially is a request for the ABN lookup service to make public the most recent results that it can find about that ABN.


Steps to follow 


If you have a valid ABN and your it will not validate in the billing process 



1. Goto  https://abr.business.gov.au/



2.Use the search function to find your public ABN info



3. If you see this screen click the publish ABN button 





4. Return to whozwho checkout, click validate if no error is present complete your signup process
